Ingredients

  • Bread slices – 4
  • Cucumber – 1 small, sliced (50g)
  • Tomato – 1 small, sliced (50g)
  • Onion – 1 small, sliced (50g)
  • Moringa powder – ½ tsp (2g)
  • Butter – 2 tbsp (30g)
  • Salt & pepper – to taste

Instructions

  1. Step 1 — Prepare spread (≈2 mins): In a small bowl, mix softened butter with moringa powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Step 2 — Assemble (≈5 mins): Spread the moringa butter on both slices of bread. Layer cucumber, tomato, and onion slices on two bread slices and cover with the remaining slices.
  3. Step 3 — Serve (≈3 mins): Cut sandwiches into halves. Serve fresh, or grill lightly on a pan or sandwich press if desired.

Tips

  • Use slightly stale bread for easier grilling and better texture.
  • Add a slice of cheese or a spread of chutney for extra flavor.
  • Toast or grill briefly if you prefer warm, crispy sandwiches.
