Moringa Wheat Halwa

Preparation Timeline
- Roasting flour: 5 minutes
- Cooking halwa: 15 minutes

Ingredients
- Wheat flour – ½ cup (60g)
- Ghee – 3 tbsp (45ml)
- Sugar – ⅓ cup (70g)
- Moringa powder – ½ tsp (2g)
- Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp (1g)
- Water – 1 cup (240ml)
- Chopped nuts – 2 tbsp (20g)
Instructions
- Step 1 — Roast (≈5 mins): Heat ghee in a pan on medium flame. Add wheat flour and roast until golden brown and aromatic.
- Step 2 — Cook (≈10 mins): Add water and sugar to the roasted flour while stirring continuously to prevent lumps. Add cardamom powder and moringa powder, mixing well.
- Step 3 — Finish (≈5 mins): Continue cooking until the mixture thickens into a halwa consistency. Garnish with chopped nuts and serve warm.
Tips
- Stir continuously to avoid lumps and burning.
- Adjust sugar based on your sweetness preference.
- Use jaggery instead of sugar for a more traditional flavor.
