Ingredients

  • Wheat flour – ½ cup (60g)
  • Ghee – 3 tbsp (45ml)
  • Sugar – ⅓ cup (70g)
  • Moringa powder – ½ tsp (2g)
  • Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp (1g)
  • Water – 1 cup (240ml)
  • Chopped nuts – 2 tbsp (20g)

Instructions

  1. Step 1 — Roast (≈5 mins): Heat ghee in a pan on medium flame. Add wheat flour and roast until golden brown and aromatic.
  2. Step 2 — Cook (≈10 mins): Add water and sugar to the roasted flour while stirring continuously to prevent lumps. Add cardamom powder and moringa powder, mixing well.
  3. Step 3 — Finish (≈5 mins): Continue cooking until the mixture thickens into a halwa consistency. Garnish with chopped nuts and serve warm.

Tips

  • Stir continuously to avoid lumps and burning.
  • Adjust sugar based on your sweetness preference.
  • Use jaggery instead of sugar for a more traditional flavor.
