- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp (5g)
- Bay leaf – 1
- Garam masala – 1 tsp (3g)
- Salt – 1.5 tsp (7g)
- Oil/ghee – 2 tbsp (30ml)
- Water – 3 cups (720ml)
Step-by-step
- Step 1: Wash and soak rice for 15 minutes. Drain.
- Step 2: Heat oil, add cumin, bay leaf, onion. Sauté till golden. Add tomato, vegetables, and spices. Cook 5 minutes.
- Step 3: Add rice, water, salt, and moringa powder. Cover and cook until fluffy. Serve hot with raita or curry.
