Moringa, Date and Almond Treats
Moringa Almond Energy Balls

Preparation Timeline
- Toasting almonds: 5 minutes
- Blending and mixing: 10 minutes

Ingredients
- 1 cup sliced, toasted almonds
- 2–3 tsp moringa powder (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp ground green cardamom
- 1/2 tsp ground dried ginger
- 1 Tbsp ghee (room temperature)
- 2/3 cup pitted and chopped dates
- Sliced almonds for rolling (optional)
Instructions
- Put almonds, moringa, cardamom, ginger, and a pinch of salt in a food processor. Pulse until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
- Add ghee and dates. Process until the mixture starts to come together, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Transfer the mixture to a bowl. Take small portions and roll between your palms to form walnut-sized balls.
- Roll each ball in sliced almonds if desired and place on a parchment-lined plate or tray.
- Chill until firm. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Tips
- Use soft Medjool dates for easy blending and natural sweetness.
- Adjust moringa amount for milder or stronger flavor.
- Add a pinch of cinnamon or cocoa powder for variation.
